Ashad Pastures, but also known as Shabeatz, is a 20 year old beatmaker. He is the CEO of the Production Group Skys The Limit Productions, which was founded in 2007. Born in Queens, NY and raised in Long Island, Shabeatz has been making music since a little child growing up. He is currently attending The Institute of Audio Research to expand his knowledge in the technical side of music. Some of his influences include Alchemist, DJ Premier, Hi Tek, Dr. Dre, and all beatmakers in the game because he uses them as motivation to work harder. This is his 3rd time being accepted into the showcase. It was a good learning experience because I realized there are so many talented people out there and you need to have something that seperates yourself from the rest to make it in the game. As to date he released his highly acclaimed mixtape of remixes titled “Welcome To The Game Part 1” and has worked with several artists from around the country and is well known for his remixes. But as of now he has no industry placements. With his work ethic and passion to make it, that will all change soon. I feel like my sound is what the game needs right now, I would like to take it back to when Ill beats and Ill rhymes mattered. With his amount of love and passion for music, he’s well on his way to make an impact in the game.
