Born in Mount Clemens, Michigan Nicholas Deshaun Peterson also know as "Nic - Nac" began his music career shortly after his military service in 2004. Nic - Nac served in The Iraqi War and has since then created his battlefield on paper. Nic - Nac has been rapping for as far back as he can remember but, is now striving to land a position in the mainstream hip-hop world. Many say his vocal style is a rapid-fire paced flow, with electric energy, and a variety of rhyme patterns, but he also has a mid-west sound. As a producer, writer, artist, promoter, and model Nic - Nac has showcased at local events, was a featured artist in the “Unsigned Artist” column of Metro Times, has a top 20 Song and is a wining contestant on American Idol Underground. Nic - Nac has had his profile featured on "Last Call With Carson Daily" as a prominent up and coming artist. Nic - Nac is a huge fan of Hip - Hop and Detroit artist. "Mann I learned a lot about the hustle and grind of the music bizz, “I have respect for Detroit artist because ever since Motown left we have to hustle even harder than the next man."
