A couple weeks ago I asked for producers to send me some of their work & beat tapes and one issue I ran into is I got a lot of projects that are a bit older. However I’m a firm believer of music being timeless & it gives me a chance to give producers some more shine, so I started the #FromTheVault series. Who couldn’t use some instrumentals to get you through the day.
Brooklyn producer Dough Juan is here with his eight track instrumental tape “4th Quarter Instrumentals”. Rooted in underground sound, Dough Juan captures a number of vibes and feels on this. You can hear his appreciation for vintage & samples, but also his appreciation for bangers. “Clockwork” & “Big Moment” are my personal favorites. Take a listen and let me know what you think below, word has it Dough Juan is planning on releasing something before summer enters.
